Ivana and Ivan were one of the funniest couple we have worked with. They had a grand ceremony at the Mary Immaculate Church, Waverley, followed by a location shoot at the QT Hotel Sydney after that a night to remember at The Tea Room QVB, one of our favourite venues!

The getting ready shots with the bride were so relaxed, more importantly it really was nice to slow down for a change. This allowed for far more creativity as we weren’t racing against the clock and just focusing on Ivana. The ceremony space is simply majestic with it’s long red carpet and high ceilings with beautiful art all over.

After the ceremony we proceeded to the QT Hotel where we had some more time with the couple to shoot inside their hotel room and outside in the lobby and be really creative with this space! This hotel is beautiful, in particular the ambience and lighting is so art deco. We were able to even capture a couple of our signature shots with the back lights and really get the style and mood our bride Ivana was really after.

Which leads us to The Tea Room QVB where the reception space was and boy do we love shooting here! The ceiling in this place is just so niche and unique, the chandeliers are so magnificent and gives of this beautiful amber tone in the images that really warms up the scene. Ivana and Ivan were introduced and walked in between an aisle of fireworks and accompanied by a dragon and lion dancing ensemble, it was spectacular and one night I think this couple will look back for years to come.
